At its core, a LIFE Group is less about what you do and more about doing life together.

We all need each other and that’s why we have LIFE Groups!

LIFE GROUPS

SMALL GROUPS OF PEOPLE WHO MEET TOGETHER REGULARLY IN AN INFORMAL ENVIRONMENT.

People can easily feel a bit disconnected from a church. They can attend church, be part of a large crowd, but never really get involved, make friends, develop their spiritual gifts or be accountable in a practical way. Being part of a LIFE Group provides the opportunity to fulfill these important elements of church life. As we grow larger as a church, we want to create a smaller more intimate feel for you at the same time - we do this through LIFE Groups. 

 

LIFE Group hosts are also available to pray, visit and support their members. We encourage everybody to not only attend church services, but to also be part of a Group.

There are LIFE Groups based on interests (business people or cooking for example), family life (single, married, parents for example) and age groups (campus students, young adults, families for example). There are LIFE Groups for everyone!

SO WHY JOIN A LIFE GROUP?

 

LIFE Groups have one purpose: to bring people together. We know God created us to live in relationship with others. These relationships help us live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design. Here at NLS, we believe we are Stronger Together. However, meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why LIFE Groups exist; to make these life-changing relationships accessible to you. They help make a NLS feel like home. So, no matter where you are in your relationship with God or what stage of life you’re in, we have a LIFE Group for you!
 

THE PURPOSE OF LIFE GROUPS 

 

TO EXPERIENCE: To create a place where people can experience God through weekly group participation and by encouraging attendance to weekend experiences.  


TO CONNECT: To help people in the Miami, Redland, Homestead area connect, build relationships throughout the week, and connect through Growth Track. 


TO GROW: To help people take the next step in their journey with Christ, through discipleship.


TO SERVE: To help people give back by creating opportunities for groups to reach out to the community, and by serving on the DREAM TEAM at NLS.

You don’t need to have it all together to lead a Small Group—you just have to be willing to let God use you. If you’re a first-time leader,

join us for Small Group training. We believe God uses Small Groups to change people’s lives, and as a leader, you get to be a part of that.
